Ok, the model is Kelsey Van Mook (Don't worry, I don't know who she is either). I route for Australian Vogue - I mean, they feature a lot of new artists and designers, and the articles that their staff writes aren't bad, but wow, they have gone really down hill very quickly.
I hate this cover, I hate the choices - the font, the colors, the plain white background, the crimped hair, the pose, the cheap-looking outfit (I don't care what designer it is, it looks cheap to me personally). And, I don't understand why they have to constantly reprint editorials and articles from other magazines - I will write them an article if they need one! "THE MAN WHO MADE THE SUPER MODEL" is referring to Steven Meisel - they reprinted U.S. Vogue's article from May. Now, not only did they reprint that article, but they say that Steven Meisel "made the super model." I admire Meisel, but he did not make the super model. Liz Tilberis did, and designers like Karl Lagerfeld - who gave all of the super models exposure into the mainstream through their advertisements in the early nineties. Meisel might have made them famous amongst the industry, but he did not create "the super model" in my opinion.
Vogue Australia, get yourself together!
