As much as I love you Christy, you look like a mannequin on this cover. Can you move your face?
And god damn it. That text is so distracting, especially the “What Works” part blah blah blah….and if they nixed that, they wouldn’t have needed to cover up part of the V in “Vogue”. Actually, ninety percent of the text on this cover is unnecessary.
US Vogue has a tendency to butcher the Supers. Exhibit A:
I should be glad, grateful, that a model is finally on the cover. But they still manage to ruin that experience.
Maybe there is a perfectly good reason why US Vogue prefers not to have models on the covers. Maybe it is because they end up making these beautiful girls look __you fill in the blank___.
Christy, I love you, but thanks to this cover, you’ll have people associating you with this character.
