Elise Crombez
I really like Elise Crombez. She has been modeling since 2001, and is a Prada favorite. Though, she didn't appear last season. I hope she returns this September, she has such a strong presence. She adds a lot of life to every collection she models, including the spectacular Galliano Spring 2003 in which she was a true star.
Alice Burdeu
There have been rumors that Alice has quit modeling once she failed to appear at any of the bookings for last season. She won Australia's Next Top Model Cycle 3 and shot to stardom with two Vogue covers, and walking for shows like Lanvin and Louis Vuitton.
Irina Lazareanu
Irina Lazareanu is one of the most versatile models out there. She took a temporary break from modeling last year, and hasn't appeared on the runway or on the covers of magazine since. I hope she comes back!
Selina Khan
Selina Khan is a brand new model, and I have a feeling she could book some great shows this season. She has already walked for Ralph Lauren and DKNY, but she has the potential to do even better come September.
Daria Werbowy
Although Daria is very busy booking covers and editorials, I really miss her on the runway. She last walked in Fall 2008, and after rumors surfaced that she is set to retire soon, I really hope she can make at least one more appearance on the runway. She is a true star.
Kat Doll
You may remember Kat Doll as Katarzyna Dollinski from ANTM Cycle 10. Well, she is already one of the most successful alum from ANTM having been signed with Elite, and walking in the Fall 2009 shows (AND she changed her name). She has been featured recently in Australian Vogue, L'Officiel Paris, and Italian Glamour Magazine. She walked alongside the real top models such as Sessilee Lopez in her first season booking Issey Miyake. I hope this season she books some more shows!
Ali Michael
Ali is one of the top American models. She didn't walk in the Fall 2009 shows, and it is speculated that she is taking a break because of school. She is very young, and has already struggled with Anorexia, maybe the modeling business is not the right place for her now, but if she feels it's Ok to walk a few shows, then I hope she does!
Agyness Deyn
Agyness has said that she wants to go into acting, and possible retire from modeling. She only chose to walk in two shows last season, and it's making many people forget the high fashion model she once was! I hope she returns to the runway. In my opinion, she shined the most on the runway, and it would be a shame if she just quit this early in her career while she's still hot!
Masha Tyelna
Masha is such a sweetheart. She was once walking for Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Alexander McQueen regularly but that seams to have recently slowed down, for it is feared that she is quitting modeling. The industry is so brutal and Masha seams like such an innocent angel. So, if she decides to quit that is fine, but I really think she is a star.
Caroline Trentini
Though Caroline only appeared in Yves Saint Laurent last season, she made, in my opinion, one of the most memorable appearances. She looked stunning, and I hope she walks in more shows this upcoming season!
Gemma Ward
Gemma is an icon in the industry. She was last seen on the runway on Spring 2008 and it is likely that she won't return for a while, if ever. After pictures were taken of her and it was apparent that she had gained a bit of weight, and it seams she hasn't made a public appearance since. It doesn't matter what you weigh, you have the sweetest personality and one of the most beautiful faces of all time Gemma! Please come back, we miss you! :(
