Looks like everyone is not doing so hot.
Conde Nast’s Vogue and W, both suffered the most loss in ad pages (meaning less money for the magazines).
Elle on the other hand seems to be staying afloat quite well.
According to the NY Post, Vogue’s September 2009 issue will have 400 pages.
The September 2007 issue had 727 pages while the September 2008 issue had 607 pages.
This is how thick the September 2007 issue is, compared to my very boring Financial Accounting text book.
Could you imagine a world filled with no paper magazines? Every thing just found online? I don’t want to think about it.
