Check out Karl back in the 1960's (yes, that's really Karl in every picture). It's clear that Karl was very different from the late Yves, Christian, Pierre, etc... Unlike the other greats, who really just focused on creating beautiful things - and didn't care so much about personal appearance, Karl seamed to strive not only to create beauty, but to be beautiful - himself. One of the first to care about what he weighed, what he wore, and who he hung out with.
Looking at the pictures - him in his little swimsuit, and him looking into that giant mirror - it reminds me of someone...
No wonder why they're BFFs...
