Spring 2009 With Carine Roitfeld and Anna Wintour Being Anna Wintour

It took me a while to connect.  Jacqueline Follet is Carine Roitfeld.  Yes, haha, I am slow. It is too close a coincidence.  That designer guy Follet ends up working for is supposed to represent Tom Ford’s and Carine’s eventual collaboration—instead of Jacqueline stealing Miranda’s job.  They even had the dame haircut!

Anyways… I am a moron for not paying attention in 8th grade French class.

I love hearing Carine talk though while looking at the runway looks.

Anna Wintour would never agree to doing this (see bottom of post).

Milan: Prada, Jil Sander, Versace, Dolce and Gabanna and Cavalli

Balmain and Gareth Pugh…she looks like so much fun to talk to!

Paris: Margiela, Gaultier, Lagerfeld, Balenciaga.

AND SUBTITLED! But from fall 2007.

Givenchy, Stella Mccartney.  She is showing off her Givenchy sweater!

And Anna Wintour gets interviewed by…

…some poor girl who probably threw up after this interview…I feel so bad for her.

I definitely have a bias against Anna, but I can’t help it.  I cannot find any video of her redeeming herself.  Prove me wrong Anna, Prove me wrong!

Glass House from Ferris Bueller For Sale

Ferris Bueller house
Cameron’s house is for sale. OMG, if I has 2.3 million dollars I would so buy it.
Ferris Bueller House

I’ve taken a tour there at Highland Park when I was younger…it’s minutes away from where I live and it is awesome!

The steel and glass house immortalized in the pop classic movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” is for sale.

The original house, located in the wooded Chicago suburb of Highland Park, was designed by A. James Speyer, a protégé of Mies van der Rohe, in 1953. The glass pavilion, designed by the noted architect David Haid, was added a few years later, according to Meladee Hughes, a listing agent at Sudler Sotheby’s International Realty.

In the movie, the house was home to Bueller’s friend, Cameron. His father used the glass pavilion to display his red Ferrari, which (spoiler alert!) ultimately ended up in the ravine that the house overhangs.

The four-bedroom, 5,300-square-foot house is priced at $2.3 million, according to the listing.

“It’s not just about the car going in the ravine,” Ms. Hughes told the Chicago Sun-Times. “It’s just a wonderful property.”

Would you ever live in this glass house with no windows? Would you sacrifice some privacy for living up in style?
