Sunday Night Bash Fashion Challenge

There seems to be a recession trend going on in the September issues.

From Sasha, Jamie, and Anna J on covers of Vogue Italia, to Sasha again, Stam and Lily C dressing up as bag ladies in their recent editorials—it looks as if the “homeless person” look is a favorite of stylists and editors this season.

We’ll only have one look this night. It is to dress up like the homeless using high fashion items. The important thing here is to layer and use textures to your advantage.

Sunday Night Bash Fashion Challenge

A noticeable trend seems to be going on in fashion right now. From Lady Gaga and Beyonce going pantless, to Madonna wearing thigh high boots to the met gala, to the skimpy thigh grazing dresses Hollywood starlets are wearing at the red carpets and finally to Lara Stone barely dressed in fashion editorials. There is a trend designers, stylists and editors seem to be telling us. It is to dress like a streetwalker.

In this week's fashion challenge, we take cues from our favorite streetwalker: Pretty Woman. You’ll need two looks: One trashy, revealing outfit for walking the streets (this means tight, low-cut and skimpy) and one for the boudoir (this means half dressed, with the top part missing like Lara Stone or with the bottom half missing like Lady Gaga—or just see through) . And to finish up your look, you’ll need a pair of thigh high hooker boots.

While the boys can dress like Richard Gere or a pimp, whatever they’d like. Something for the street and for bedroom, along with boots.

Sunday Night Bash Fashion Challenge

This week we travel back in time—back to the 1940’s during World War II. You are a spy in a very dangerous mission to charm the Nazi’s into giving you top secret information that will help end the war.

To help you in your mission, you’ll need a suit and an evening gown. Of course, the mandatory knee-length coat or fur to hide all your secrets is necessary too. So that’s three things:

1. Suit
2. Evening Gown
3. Knee-Length Coat or Fur

Throw in accessories, make-up, or hairstyles if you want.

And in case you’re wondering, the 40’s and suits “are back”, so says Anna Wintour. So you better participate or Anna will be not be pleased.
