The Lanvin Resort collection for 2010 is here! Rima is totally more of a Lanvin girl than I am, but when it comes to Alber's resort collections I can't help but to go wild. His last resort collection was godly. For 2010 Alber provides us with romantic fabrics, sequins, flowers-shaped accents and seemingly dazed models. The collection almost feels like a little girl playing dress-up with her grandmother's garments from the 1960's.
It's truly a breathtakingly fun and light-hearted collection. I know, at every single collection last season there was at least one person who had to say "This is what we need in these economic times." But, with this collection, I really feel that statement is spot-on. This collection was just so dazzling and fun, but not over-the-top. Alber Elbaz shared with us, trends and ideas that every girl could apply into her every-day wardrobe.
